This month in Mississippi, the Lawmakers are with a different point of view regarding the legalization of sports betting in the state, with two different bills, House Bill 1113 (HB 1113), and House Bill 1154 (HB 1154) in the state senate.
One of the bills, House Bill 1113 is principally authored by Representative Roun S. McNeal, a lawyer in Leakesville, Mississippi, who is the Republican state representative for District 105 in George, Greene, and Perry counties. McNeal graduated from Greene County High School in Leakesville and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi and his legal credentials from the University of Mississippi School of Law in Oxford.
The Representative Roun S. McNeal would see the amendment of existing state law to forbid sports betting.
